The LECOM Institute for Successful Aging is accepting applications and resume submissions for a Full Time Admissions Coordinator to work at one or more of our Skilled Nursing Facilities, located in Erie, PA.

The Admissions Coordinator(s) play a crucial role in assisting patients and their families during the admissions process. Their ability to effectively communicate information, handle phone inquiries, and coordinate with the admissions team contributes to providing a positive experience for patients seeking care.

Responsibilities:
– Answering phone calls and inquiries from potential patients and their families
– Providing information about the admissions process and requirements
– Assisting with the completion of necessary paperwork and documentation
– Coordinating with the admissions team to ensure a smooth transition for patients
– Maintaining accurate records of all admissions activities

Experience:
– Previous experience working in a healthcare or medical setting is preferred
– Familiarity with phone systems and handling high call volumes
– Knowledge of emergency room (ER) procedures and protocols is a plus
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
