Companion Services
Our trained staff will accompany individuals to visit friends or family, to social events, or to visit local sites around town. Staff will also enjoy playing games, watching TV, and offering companionship at their home.
Companion care for seniors gives you and your loved ones someone to socialize with and gives your family a dependable service.
Personal Care
Personal care services help seniors with activities of daily living they once did for themselves, including, but not limited to, bathing or brushing their teeth.
Meals and Nutrition
Our staff helps your loved one with a healthy, well-balanced diet. From grocery shopping to meal preparation, our staff can provide nutritious meals that appeal to all tastes and dietary restrictions.
Transportation
Our trained staff will help your loved ones get ready, accompany them, and provide any assistance required to travel and arrive at the destination. We use our transportation system.
Household Duties
Staff can perform dozens of common household tasks. Some of the tasks are laundry/ironing, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, taking the trash out, organizing, and cleaning closets.
Share Care Living
LECOM Share Care provides a series of high-quality home care services intended for seniors choosing to live together in a beautiful, shared, private residence. Each residence is shared by three seniors, who live in a safe, supportive environment. Each home is staffed 24 hours a day by caregivers and nurses to provide care needs.
In a shared home, residents and their families create bonds that add a quality of life to your loved ones. Share Care is a customized, personal touch to aging when living alone is no longer an option.
Referrals
Anyone may request LECOM Home Care or Share Care services by calling (814) 417-8751. Services can be paid privately or through Pennsylvania Aging and Independent Waiver Services. Some Long-Term Care Insurance may apply, and you will need to reference your policy. The Pennsylvania Department of Health licenses LECOM Home Care.
